ONE USEFUL MOMENT IS ENOUGH Optional employee event photo card | Gather Shot https://gathershot.com/resources/employee-event-recap/ HOST: Fill in these details before handing out this card. Event: [name and date] Finished recap audience and purpose: [specific internal group and purpose] Collection reviewers: [names] Upload link: [short link, alongside your QR code] Uploads close: [date, time and time zone confirmed in settings] Photo-free area: [location that still allows full participation] Help / private removal request: [contact and in-person alternative] File retention information: [notice or policy location] You may take part without taking, appearing in or uploading a photo. No personal phone, social account or off-duty contribution is required. Offer a sentence, suggest a subject for the host camera, or contribute nothing. CHOOSE ONE SMALL STORY - The invitation made real: decorations or a welcome sign with no personal details. - Something made together: a paper model or arrangement of materials. - The quiet setup: a prepared table before people arrive. - The local detail: an approved event object from your site or shift. BEFORE THE SHUTTER Ask people before photographing them and explain the intended audience. No surprise close-ups, eating photos or embarrassing moments. No screens, badges, rotas, customer work, access codes or meeting whiteboards. No photography in safety-critical areas or while operating equipment. Hands, tattoos, uniforms, reflections and locations can still identify someone. Use objects alone when permission is unclear. Do not photograph personal homes or off-duty locations to prove that remote colleagues participated. MAKE THE FRAME USABLE Clean the lens. Stand still in an allowed place with the light on the subject. Tap the subject to focus where your phone supports it. Take one steady frame. Leave a little space around the subject for a later crop. Avoid digital zoom. Check the image before uploading. On iPhone, tap to focus and adjust exposure beside the focus area if needed. Other phones use different controls. Keep the original. Do not add text, beauty filters or a screenshot of the photo. Do not use AI to add people, change expressions or invent an event scene. CHECK, THEN SEND Choose one or two useful photos, not your entire camera roll. Check the whole frame, including the background and reflections. Send the original through the approved collection route when connected. Wait for upload completion. Poor signal does not guarantee an offline queue. Give the host the asset description, site/shift if useful, what happened, and any reuse restriction through the approved private channel. Do not post a consent list. An upload is a candidate for review, not a promise of publication. No faces is fine. No photo is fine. Enjoy the event first.
