Read these rules before every photo activity

  • Participation and being photographed are optional. Ask everyone pictured before taking or uploading a photo. Respect a no without asking again. Get separate permission before public or promotional reuse.
  • Offer seated, step-free versions of every prompt. Guests can direct a photo, describe an idea to a teammate, or choose an object-only alternative. No running, climbing, purchases, alcohol, or personal-device ownership required.
  • Keep screens, badges, documents, customer details, private conversations, and restricted spaces out of frame. Follow venue and employer rules. Do not photograph people who have opted out.
  • For a game, the host manually awards 1 point per completed prompt, up to 8 points. Equivalent accessible alternatives earn the same point. No speed bonus; ties share the win. Scoring is not automated.

Tell guests who can see submissions, how you plan to use them, and whom to contact for removal. A guest agreeing to upload does not give permission on behalf of everyone pictured.

Office photo scavenger hunt pack

A low-pressure team activity for an office social or retreat, with object-only alternatives.

Host setup: Choose a common, step-free area. Assign a host and optional small teams. Set a finish time together, read the rules aloud, and share a printed sheet or upload link. Avoid active workspaces.

  1. Arrange three shared stationery items into a team symbol. Keep documents out of frame.
  2. Photograph a plant or a nature-inspired object in a shared area.
  3. Create a tiny sculpture from clean, reusable desk supplies.
  4. Show teamwork with willing teammates, or arrange two objects helping each other.
  5. Find a texture or pattern in a common area, without entering anyone’s workspace.
  6. Make a welcome sign on blank paper, with no names or company information.
  7. Show an imaginary team mascot using objects or a drawing.
  8. Capture a celebration pose with permission, or make a paper confetti arrangement without scattering it.

Wrap-up: Have each team choose one photo to explain. Review submissions privately, record points on the sheet, and confirm permission before sharing a recap with colleagues.

Conference photo challenge pack

Eight conversation starters for attendees, without requiring strangers to appear in photos.

Host setup: Confirm photography rules with the venue and speakers. Mark approved common areas and explain how to find a host. Keep the activity outside sessions and away from access routes.

  1. Capture an approved event sign without badges or attendees in frame.
  2. Draw one idea you want to explore on blank paper and photograph it.
  3. Build an object arrangement that represents collaboration.
  4. Photograph an architectural detail in an approved, accessible common area.
  5. Show a networking conversation with willing participants, or illustrate it with a drawing.
  6. Create a paper symbol for a useful takeaway, without copying slides or confidential notes.
  7. Capture an approved sponsor display with staff permission and no visitor details visible.
  8. Make a thank-you image for the event crew using objects or willing participants.

Wrap-up: Invite optional captions explaining takeaways. A host reviews photos and manually records points. Ask separately before using attendee images in sponsor reports, social posts, or marketing.

Holiday party photo prompt pack

A seasonal activity that does not assume a particular faith, costume, or drinking culture.

Host setup: Pick a shared area with a seated option and quiet participation space. Make all prompts optional. Provide paper and reusable objects so guests can join without dressing up or buying anything.

  1. Photograph a seasonal color combination in decorations or objects.
  2. Arrange reusable items into a star, circle, or another festive shape.
  3. Create a paper greeting that welcomes everyone, without personal names.
  4. Photograph a cozy texture or decoration, avoiding private belongings.
  5. Show a celebration pose with willing guests, or pose a paper character instead.
  6. Make a tabletop scene representing something you appreciate.
  7. Capture a decorative reflection without accidentally including people who opted out.
  8. Create a thank-you scene for the hosts with a drawing or reusable objects.

Wrap-up: Share favorite details rather than ranking outfits or people. If playing competitively, the host manually records the same point for equivalent accessible alternatives. Confirm permission before any recap.

Want one place to collect photos?

Gather Shot supports browser-based uploads through a QR code or link, without a guest app download. Its photo scavenger hunt feature collects prompt responses and tracks personal completion. Hosts judge submissions, keep team scores separately, and choose winners. There is no automatic team scoring or leaderboard.

Scavenger hunts are included with Pro and Enterprise, or available as a Basic add-on. These printable packs remain free regardless of your plan. See current pricing before choosing a paid event plan.

Review guest consent settings and privacy and moderation controls before inviting uploads. Enable moderation if you need approval before photos appear in the public gallery.
